Hello Reader, Some weeks my reading stays fairly close to one genre, and then there are weeks like this one. I bounced from children's books to space opera to knitting patterns—and I loved every minute of it. I've always been a reading lane hopper. Give me an interesting story, an intriguing character, or simply something I'm curious about, and I'm willing to wander outside my usual shelves. I think that's part of the fun of being a reader. We never quite know what we'll discover next. This week's Friday Finds has that same little-bit-of-everything feeling. I'm sharing two very different recent reads, shining the Author of the Week spotlight on mystery writer Jay B. Greene, and giving you another chance to enter the Surviving Summer Camp paperback giveaway. There's also a refreshing Key Lime Cooler for Sip & Savor and a Featured Find that may appeal to anyone who's ever looked at their bookshelves and thought, I really should reorganize those. Except this particular library is tiny enough that you really could reorganize the whole thing before lunch. 😂 And because I'm curious about your reading habits, this week's reader question asks whether you're a fellow lane hopper or someone who prefers to settle comfortably into favorite genres. I hope you'll pour yourself something refreshing, pull up a chair, and spend a few minutes exploring with me. Come see what's waiting in this week's Friday Finds → Have a wonderful weekend! Gina |
